We had our second intervention on self-love, understanding emotions and body safety at the College d’Enseignement General (CEG) Ampefiloha, which would be the equivalent of a secondary school in North America.
This time, we were focused on teenagers – which we strongly believe is an important intervention because it is around this age that insecurities really start to develop. Therefore, it is important to remind them to love themselves first – no matter what they see or others say about them, and to not be afraid of the emotions they are feeling.
They were taught positive affirmations and the teaching tools also included a book by Educate to empower, our partner, exploring emotions through short stories. Look at how happy the teens were! Stay tuned for some powerful testimonies from them!
